Job description

Diamond Foundry Inc. is solving the thermal limitation at the foundation of today's most exciting tech industries -- AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have managed to produce the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now on a mission to put a diamondbehind every chip. We are the rare unicorn that has grown fast and profitably. We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.

Diamond Foundry is looking for a talented and capable Electrician to join our team. This person will assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment. The right candidate will ensure safety by observing the local, state, and national electrical-code regulations that pertain to their work. This person may work at multiple plants in Wenatchee and directly with plant personnel.

The job will be hands-on, installing and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing environment. You’ll be:
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns. Troubleshooting industrial control/electrical systems including power supplies, controllers, sensors, PLCs, and other devices to find and eliminate the root cause of failures.
  • Working with manufacturing technicians to plan and execute upgrades and retrofits to improve tool reliability and process capabilities.
  • Regularly inspect equipment to identify potential problems and ensure they are operating correctly. Test repaired equipment to ensure it is functioning properly before it is put back into service.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, time spent, and issues encountered.
  • Perform industrial-level electrical installations compliant with current NFPA 70 and RCW/WAC regulations
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of hands-on Journeyman experience and up-to-date Washington EL01 License with a demonstrated understanding of electrical safety codes and regulations (such as NFPA 70E).
  • Experience with electrical test equipment (Multimeter, Megohmmeter, Hipot, and other devices), hands-on troubleshooting control signals, and instrumentation as well as 480v power distribution systems.
  • Must have strong computer skills, be able to read and update schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter who can see what is needed, uses facts and data to determine what to do and manages projects to make it happen.

$40 - $70 an hour
Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s job duties, experience, and expertise.
