Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an entry-level Driver, Fueling & Service to deliver and fully service rental equipment at job sites and events. The role requires mechanical aptitude and ability to work in varied weather conditions, including lifting up to 45 lbs and climbing ladders.

You will coordinate with dispatch, handle delivery/return logs, fuel equipment on site, and promote company services while maintaining safe working conditions. This position is safety sensitive.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and be physically able to endure varied weather conditions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
• Team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and exercise good judgment.
• Capable of sitting/standing for long periods and lifting up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, fuel, and service equipment to job sites and events.
• Coordinate with Dispatch to manage order priority and logs.
• Operate and move equipment such as light towers, trailers, generators, and related assets.
• Promote company services and maintain clean, safe working conditions.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with federal laws.
• Communicate status of job orders with dispatch and management.
• Assist with on-site repairs or issue resolution as needed.
