Job summary

Carter Machinery is hiring an Equipment Coordinator in Charlottesville. The role involves loading/unloading rental equipment, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining an organized yard to ensure quick access to units.

You will support new and used sales and service machines in co-locations as needed, while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate can operate heavy equipment safely, is organized, and communicates well.

Qualifications

• Must operate heavy equipment safely.
• Must be self-directed, organized, and able to interact with peers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload rental equipment and attachments; manage returns and deliveries.
• Direct the delivery of new equipment and coordinate yard organization for easy access.
• Maintain the rental yard for efficient access and inventory control.
• Promote a positive customer experience and uphold Carter values.
