Job summary

McBride Consulting has an exciting opportunity for an Equipment Specialist supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. This full-time hybrid position is located at Tinker AFB, OK.

Duties include reviewing specifications, maintaining drawing packages, providing technical support, and preparing TCTOs to support configuration changes and inspections. The role requires experience with CM, AFMC guidelines, and DoD processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in logistics support, configuration management, or DoD-relevant programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate with engineers and program managers.

Responsibilities

• Review and recommend changes to program specifications for hardware and software to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain and update drawing packages for modifications and ensure latest versions are filed.
• Ship and transmit drawing packages and revisions.
• Provide technical support on field, depot, and modification program issues.
• Prepare Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) for configuration changes and inspections.
• Support CCB and board directives by coordinating with Technical Content Managers for publication and distribution of TO changes.
• Manage OSS&E baselines and CM tasks including DRs and AFTO forms.
• Produce monthly performance metrics for DRs, AFTOs, and AFTO 252s.
• Assist with transition to a digital technical order system and ensure NSN loading accuracy.
