Booz Allen Hamilton in Fort Meade, MD is seeking an Equipment Configuration & Logistics Specialist to identify, track, and control government and contractor assets and maintain inventory records. You will oversee receipt, delivery, transfer, or disposition of assets according to regulations, using current technology and applying configuration management know-how for hardware lifecycles.

Responsabilités

• Identify, track, and control government and contractor assets; maintain inventory records.
• Oversee receipt, delivery, transfer, or disposition of assets per regulations using current technology.
• Apply expertise in configuration management, life cycle support, document control, database management, and logistics engineering for hardware.
• Maintain receivables and protection of goods; collaborate with GFP staff and receiving manager for efficient movement of GFE and GFP property.
• Assemble data and update up-to-date inventory of all GFP and GFE; transport equipment to mailroom for shipment (up to 50lbs).

Equipment Configuration & Logistics Specialist

The Opportunity:

Identify, track, and control government and contractor acquired assets and maintain inventory records. Oversee the receipt, delivery, transfer, or disposition of assets in accordance with applicable government regulations using current technology. Demonstrate initiative and effective follow-though. Apply expertise in configuration management, life cycle support, document control, database management, and logistics engineering for hardware. Maintain receivables and protection of goods and collaborate with Government Furnished Property (GFP) staff and the receiving manager to ensure the efficient and effective movement of both Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and GFP property. Maintain responsibility for assembling data and updating and maintaining up-to-date inventory of all GFP and GFE. Transport equipment and servers weighing up to 50lbs to mailroom for shipment.

You Have

• Experience managing government equipment
• Experience working with Excel
• Experience handling government documents, including 1149s
• Knowledge of equipment and property management tools or systems, and property management tracking systems such as AssetSmart and PIEE
• Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and pay strict attention to detail
• Ability to move equipment up to 50lbs
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
