Job summary

Ziegler Caterpillar is seeking an Equipment Condition Monitoring Analyst in Minneapolis, MN to monitor, analyze, and develop Equipment Management Solutions for customers. You will evaluate data, understand condition monitoring elements, and recommend actions to improve equipment health and uptime.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, data analysis skills, and experience with fluid analysis, ECM fault codes, and root-cause analysis. Travel up to 3% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, 2-yr degree preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude in power train systems, fluid power, and electrical systems required.
• 3+ years experience with analyzing fluid analysis results, troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis.
• Experience analyzing ECM fault codes and failure analysis principles.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage data from various sources to evaluate and improve equipment health.
• Learn and apply elements of condition monitoring for problem solving and recommendations.
• Ensure data collection is complete, accurate and timely.
• Apply predictive maintenance technologies to diagnose equipment problems and develop solutions.
• Coordinate with branch personnel and CSR to ensure completion of recommendations.
