Job summary

FM Boiler Re, a division of FM, seeks a full-time Claims Analyst at our Malvern, PA headquarters to evaluate and adjust homeowner claims with occasional commercial losses. You will investigate losses, contact involved parties, research equipment issues, and advise on settlements or declinations, while supporting data entry in our claims system.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree or equivalent job experience.
• Experience: Equipment Breakdown Insurance Industry or claims adjustment experience.
• Must have or obtain state adjuster licenses. Strong relationship management and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate claims for mechanical, electrical, or pressure system breakdown events.
• Investigate the equipment loss claimed and contact all pertinent parties.
• Research equipment claimed and provide recommendations for settlement or declination.
• Adjust homeowner claims, with occasional commercial or farm losses.
• Assist in data entry/clerical duties such as establishing new losses in the FM Boiler Re claims database.
