Job summary

United Rentals is hiring a Portable Sanitation Equipment Associate to support the Reliable Onsite Services division. You will ensure rent-ready units, perform yard maintenance, and assist with loading/unloading and minor repairs. A strong safety mindset and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Diligent attention to safety.
• General knowledge of yard equipment and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Industry experience is a plus, but not required (training provided).
• Superior customer service and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform routine checks on portable sanitation equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
• General facility maintenance and minor repairs.
• Loading and unloading of units, manually or with forklift as required.
• Use of drill, rivet tool and other hand tools as needed.
• Ensure trucks are accurately loaded for the next day with all units cleaned and repaired to standards.
• Set-up/maintain yard in clean, organized manner.
• Maintain inventory spaces and communicate accurate counts to Dispatch.
• Quality check on all units and equipment, ensuring rent readiness prior to loading.
