Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate who will provide essential labor assistance to service technicians and sales staff, ensuring smooth branch operation. This position emphasizes safety and customer service, offering opportunities for advancement into other development programs.

The role includes checking equipment, cleaning and maintaining rental items, and assisting customers directly. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required for applicants.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is needed.
Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
Inspect rental equipment for safety compliance and ensure that equipment is in good working order.
Clean all equipment and maintain a clean work area.
Load and unload rental equipment, and prepare equipment for rental.
Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers.
