Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support branch operations. You will assist service technicians, sales staff and other team members, ensuring equipment is safe, clean and ready for rental, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

You’ll load and unload equipment, demonstrate gear to customers, and help drive a delivery truck as needed. The role is entry-level and designed to develop skills through hands-on training and programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential.
• Commitment to safety and customer service is expected.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours, mileage and fuel level upon return.
• Inspect equipment for safety decals and proper working order; clean and prep for rental.
