Job summary

United Rentals is hiring an Equipment Associate in the Matting Solutions Division. You will support service technicians, sales staff and branch personnel by performing a range of manual tasks to keep the operation running smoothly.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment for safety, loading and unloading gear, and demonstrating equipment to customers, with opportunities for advancement through our development programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and working order.
• Load, unload and prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment to customers and operate delivery truck when needed.
• Maintain a clean work area and support branch personnel as required.
