Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support trench safety branch operations. You will help assemble, load, unload, and prepare rental equipment, while maintaining safe, accurate deliveries and returns.

This role emphasizes teamwork, dependable performance, and attention to safety. Growth opportunities exist through the Driver development program and company-wide benefits and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Forklift experience preferred or related equipment handling.
• Comfort with basic computer and mobile apps.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, load and unload equipment and assist with deliveries.
• Prepare equipment for rental and conduct routine safety checks.
• Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
• Greet customers and answer questions about equipment and accessories.
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned, prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Your primary objective will be to provide labor assistance in preparing customer orders and maintaining trench safety equipment.
