Job summary

Panacheevents in Florida seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep the warehouse facility and our inventory of event rental equipment in top condition. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot specialized tools, and assist with deployments and relocations.

A hands-on, reliable team player is essential in a fast-paced environment. The role reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager and offers health/dental/vision, 401(k) eligibility after 60 days, and PTO.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of general maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and repairs).
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to stand and lift/move up to 50 lbs, occasionally 75 lbs.
  • Completion of Predictive Index assessment required.
  • Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain rental equipment and items to meet quality standards.
  • Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on production equipment, tools, and facility systems.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure equipment meets standards.
  • Assist with machine deployments, upgrades, and relocations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, tools, and facility systems.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspaces; manage hazards.
  • Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Review technical docs and collaborate with vendors for recommendations.
  • Submit requisitions and manage purchases within budget.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to support projects.
  • Assist in training others on proper product and equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with team in a cooperative, supportive environment.

Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain rental equipment and items to meet company quality standards.
  • Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on production equipment, tools, and facility systems.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure equipment meets standards.
  • Assist with machine deployments, upgrades, and relocations.
  • Perform repairs and troubleshoot issues on equipment, tools, and facility systems.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspaces free of hazards.
  • Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, including regular inspections and overhauls.
  • Review technical documentation and collaborate with equipment vendors for recommendations and selection.
  • Submit requisitions and manage purchases of tools, equipment, and supplies within budget.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to support project completion.
  • Assist in training others on proper product and equipment usage.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members in a cooperative, supportive environment.

Schedule and Benefits:

  • Evening/weekend availability depending on workload.
  • Possible overtime hours during the peak season.

Work Conditions:

  • Work primarily performed in a warehouse environment; some areas may lack heating or air conditioning.

  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, and pulling.

  • Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Occasional travel to other markets as needed.
  • Completion of the Predictive Index Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment required.
  • Must successfully pass a company background check and drug screen.
