Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of underwriting experience or a related field.
• Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily activities of the Equine Underwriting team to ensure productivity.
• Review processing of new underwriting applications for alignment with policies and guidelines.
• Review risk assessments, policy statuses, and portfolio performance.
• Oversee preparation and maintenance of underwriting files.
• Facilitate communication with agents and customers to obtain underwriting information and address issues.
• Request or generate management reports to monitor unit performance, client satisfaction, and key metrics.
• Oversee data entry and processing to ensure data integrity and prevent issues.
• Lead initiatives to streamline procedures and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance and training to clients on safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
