Job summary

Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida (EATSF) is a nonprofit organization providing therapeutic riding and equine-assisted activities to children and adults with special needs so they may improve physically, mentally, and emotionally. The Program Director will lead program development, staff management, and ongoing delivery of premier services while upholding PATH International standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university.
  • PATH certification or willingness to obtain PATH credentials.
  • Experience developing and evaluating program models.
  • Horse experience and riding ability, English or Western.
  • Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor Certification from PATH International preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee development, implementation, and growth of programs.
  • Lead and manage service delivery to participants.
  • Manage budget, contracts, and partnerships with partner agencies.
  • Ensure PATH accreditation standards are met.
  • Coordinate participant placement and records within PATH requirements.
