Northwest Veterinary Clinic of Mount Vernon is seeking an Equine Surgeon to join our growing equine team. The role blends elective surgery, sports medicine, and lameness with a healthy work-life balance and a collaborative environment in the Pacific Northwest.

We offer a balanced caseload, ambulatory and in-clinic appointments, and access to advanced imaging through nearby specialty facilities. Join our team and grow professionally while maintaining balance outside of work.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Board-certified or residency-trained in Equine Surgery (ACVS).
• Eligible for veterinary licensure in Washington.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Elective soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
• Sports medicine and performance horse evaluations.
• Comprehensive lameness diagnostics.
• Treatment planning and rehabilitation management.
• Collaboration with referring veterinarians on complex orthopedic cases.
• Build long-term client relationships across the Pacific Northwest.
