The practice maintains a balanced 60/40 ambulatory/in-clinic caseload and features a state-of-the-art facility with multiple treatment areas, a surgical suite, stocks, stalls, and an in-house lab.

Qualifications

• Licensed equine veterinarian with DVM or equivalent.
• Experience in ambulatory and hospital care preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills with sound judgment.

Are you a passionate equine veterinarian looking to join a well-established, progressive practice with a collaborative team and excellent facilities?

This long-standing equine hospital, located just outside Portland, has been providing comprehensive care to horses across the Pacific Northwest for over four decades. Due to ongoing growth, they’re now seeking to grow their dedicated four-doctor team.

This practice offers a proper mix of ambulatory and in-clinic caseload (roughly 60/40), allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds. Their state-of-the-art facility includes three treatment areas with stocks, a padded surgical suite, nine stalls, and an indoor arena — one of the few hospitals in the area equipped to hospitalize patients. Equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound, shockwave, power dental units, and a full in-house lab. They also partner with a board-certified surgeon for scheduled procedures and are known for their advanced equine dentistry services.
