The role includes feeding, turnout, stall care, equipment maintenance, and training student workers, with opportunities to perform grounds maintenance and basic carpentry as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience in handling horses is preferred.
• Must demonstrate basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for horses to protect their health and improve their appearance.
• Feeding and watering horses, managing supplements, basic equine first aid.
• Bring in and turnout horses.
• Cleans and beds stalls daily.
• Maintain facility equipment and service records.
• Train student workers engaged in similar activities.
• Perform landscaping duties and light carpentry and facility repairs.
• Use tractor with attachments for grounds maintenance.
