Job summary

Greenacres Foundation, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH seeks a full-time Equine Stable Hand to support a premier equestrian program. You will follow Daily Sheets, manage feeding and water, and keep stalls clean and comfortable for the horses.

You will assist with turnout, daily projects, and med-chart follow‑ups while adhering to SOPs and maintaining a tidy, safe facility for education-focused activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months in equestrian husbandry experience.
• Manage feeding and watering of horses, ensuring that their daily quota and requirements are met.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills.
• Desire for cleanliness of the work environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow provided Daily Sheets to complete daily tasks in timely manner.
• Follow the provided feed schedule, to include hay, grain and water.
• Clean and rebed stalls to Greenacres standards.
• Turning horses out to pastures by hand or running the herd out.
• Bringing horses in from pastures.
• Complete daily projects.
• Follow and complete med charts with assistance as needed that are developed by the Stable Supervisor or Equine Manager.
