Ray of Life Collective is seeking a passionate AmeriCorps Horse Rider/Trainer to support equine programs and community service. The role involves riding instruction, horse care, and contributing to youth development while promoting safety and teamwork in a barn environment.

The position offers a Full-Time or Part-Time arrangement with program dates from September 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027. Ideal for outdoors lovers who want hands-on horsemanship and leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for horses, youth development, or community service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and around horses.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic; able to work in a team.
• Must successfully complete a required background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with riding instruction and horse training activities.
• Help care for horses, including feeding, grooming, and daily wellness checks.
• Support equine learning, therapy, and youth development activities.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, organized barn and riding environment.
• Assist with daily equine program operations.
• Develop skills in horsemanship, animal care, leadership, and community service.
