Job summary

Rock Lane Management, LLC, d/b/a B.W. Furlong & Associates, is seeking a Hospital Imaging Assistant in Oldwick, NJ. The role supports the imaging team with prep, procedures, and patient care, and collaborates across technicians, veterinarians, and interns to deliver exceptional care.

Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday–Friday, with potential for additional shifts. Compensation starts at $19/hr plus comprehensive benefits and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Exceptional horsemanship skills demonstrated with a variety of horses.
• Able to work effectively within a patient-focused team.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in equine veterinary imaging.

Responsibilities

• Support imaging team by prepping patients pre/post procedure and understanding imaging workflows.
• Assist with imaging cases and monitor patient status; assist with in-house lab processing as needed.
• Ambulatory assistance as required; stock inventory and handle equipment transport.
• Assist veterinarians with in-clinic exams and procedures including endoscopy and imaging.
• Maintain patient records in practice management software and manage imaging files.
• Adhere to biosecurity protocols; ensure proper cleaning and sterilization of instruments.
• Capable of heavy lifting (~50 pounds) and assist in hospital grounds maintenance.
