Job summary

Fairfield Equine in Newtown, CT is seeking an experienced Equine Imaging Technician to join our Imaging Department team. The ideal candidate is a licensed veterinary technician with prior imaging experience in radiology, nuclear medicine, or MRI.

As a full-time member of our practice, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, assist with patient care, and help manage billing for imaging services. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and a commitment to teamwork and outstanding

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician with imaging experience in radiology, nuclear medicine, or MRI.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient care.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with NRC Radiation Safety, OSHA, and EH&S standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure high quality images.
• Assist with patient care and positioning during procedures.
• Handle billing related to diagnostic services.
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies for imaging procedures.
