Responsibilities

• Care for, feed, monitor and perform minor treatment on equine & livestock animals.
• Assist veterinarian by holding animals for procedures and assist farrier with hoof work.
• Clean assigned barn and facility areas daily.
• Enter animal intake, medical, behavioral, and outcome data into the management database.
• Process adoption applications and serve as adoption counselor with prospective adopters.
