Job summary

University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Equal Employment and Title IX Analyst, UNLV Office of Equal Employment and Title IX. The Analyst conducts intakes, coordinates documentation, and supports investigators, serving as the primary contact for discrimination concerns.

Under the Director, the Analyst drafts intake summaries, closing documents, and ensures case tracking in Maxient while advising on campus resources and interim remedies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in higher education, Title IX, Equal Employment Opportunity, anti-discrimination, human resources, or compliance-related field.

Responsibilities

• Intake, Assessment & Case Management: interview individuals, gather information, and assess concerns.
• Documentation & Jurisdictional Review: prepare intake summaries for jurisdiction and case assignment.
• Closure & Referrals: draft closure docs and refer to UNLV departments or campus resources.
• Recordkeeping: maintain Maxient case records and correspondence.
• Supportive & Interim Remedial Measures: provide guidance on measures for complainants and respondents.
• Subject Matter Expertise: advise on campus resources and remedies.
• Administration & Coordination: draft no-contact orders and coordinate accommodations with faculty.
• Investigative Support: take notes in investigations and draft summaries.
• Other Duties: assist with tasks and special projects as assigned.
