Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a 360EQP Project Manager to lead equipment qualification for AWS data center infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, supply chain and security teams to ensure safety, quality and cost efficiency.

You will drive documentation, metrics, and reporting, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to meet aggressive timelines. Expect international travel as needed and a dynamic, inclusive AWS culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities

Responsibilities

• Execute complete equipment qualification processes for AWS Data Center infrastructure including submittals, test protocols, prototype evaluation and documentation
• Implement and maintain systematic tracking of equipment qualification metrics with timely status updates
• Lead cross-functional coordination between architectural, electrical, control and mechanical disciplines, vendors and commissioning teams to optimize qualification timelines
• Execute documentation strategies for equipment qualification including vendor quality audits and test reports, monitor submittals and reporting
• Collaborate with data analytics teams to develop dashboards, metrics tracking and predictive modeling tools
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations and scalable solutions
• Travel for internal design meetings and factory witness testing; anticipated travel not to exceed 10% (international travel may be needed)
