Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a 360 EQP Project Manager to lead equipment qualification programs for AWS Data Center infrastructure.

You will work with Electrical, Mechanical, and Computer engineers, supply chain, and commissioning teams to ensure safety, security, and cost efficiency across global data centers. You will develop scalable testing and qualification processes, oversee documentation, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in mission critical facilities (data centers, power, or oil/gas).
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specs and submittal documents.
• Professional Engineer license or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute equipment qualification processes for AWS Data Center infrastructure with thorough submittal review and testing.
• Track equipment qualification metrics and ensure data accuracy and status updates.
• Coordinate across architectural, electrical, control and mechanical teams and vendors to optimize qualification timelines.
• Manage documentation strategies for equipment qualification and QA/test reports.
• Collaborate with data analytics to develop dashboards and predictive tools for qualification metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to scale solutions and improve efficiency.
• Travel for design meetings and factory witness testing, up to 10%.
