Job summary

Qualifications

• CDL and PA School Bus Driver's License with S endorsement and airbrake classification.
• Must pass physical examination.
• No record of repeated traffic violations.
• Knowledge of regulations and laws pertaining to school bus operation.
• Able to meet PA State Safety Regulations, mental and physical qualifications.
• Enjoy working with children.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses of various sizes and construction.
• Capable of first echelon maintenance on buses.
• Background check required by state law (Act 34), Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 114) & FBI fingerprint check.

$21.21/hour

Qualifications

• Must have Commercial Driver’s License – Current Pennsylvania School Bus Driver’s License with proper CDL License ("S") Endorsement – Airbrake Classification Necessary and be insurable by Erie’s Public Schools**
• Must be able to pass physical examination
• No record of repeated traffic violations
• Knowledge of regulations and laws pertaining to operation of a school bus
• Able to meet PA State Safety Regulations, mental and physical qualifications
• Enjoy working with children
