Job summary

SpecChem, LLC is seeking an Epoxy Production Associate for our Kansas City, KS facility. This full-time role focuses on operating mixing equipment, batching and compounding epoxy products, and ensuring high-quality output in a safety-first environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of batching or manufacturing experience (chemical background preferred), can lift up to 75 lbs, and collaborates well with a team. Training on SOPs and PPE usage is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of batching or manufacturing experience, preferably chemical manufacturing, or 1+ years with SpecChem in production.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. frequently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver batch samples and documentation to the QA Lab.
• Set up, change over, and clean machines and work area daily.
• Operate mixing equipment, perform blending, processing, batching and compounding tasks.
• Follow SOPs for consistent quality and safety.
• Use PPE (respirator, apron, gloves) and follow OSHA guidelines.
