Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to safely handle liquid and dry chemical products in our Kansas City site.

The role involves mixing, loading/unloading, operating forklifts, repackaging, and maintaining inventory records in a fast-paced, safety-first environment. The position requires attention to detail, willingness to work overtime, and the ability to read and follow detailed English instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, US military experience preferred.
• Possess or able to pass forklift certification exam and operate forklift safely.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instructions in English.
• Basic math skills for measurements and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage process equipment to produce blended, diluted, and manufactured final products safely and efficiently.
• Receive/unload and load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Inspect tanks, tankers and railcars before and after loading/unloading operations.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and record product quantities in the system.
• Repackage products into proper containers and ensure proper labeling and storage.
