Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring an experienced Industrial Chemical Production Operator in Los Angeles, CA to support a specialty chemical manufacturer. This hands-on role involves producing epoxy and polyurethane formulations, following detailed procedures, handling chemicals safely, and operating processing equipment to meet quality and safety standards.

The position requires 3+ years in manufacturing, with flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of related manufacturing or industrial production experience; chemical experience preferred.
Ability to follow detailed written procedures and safety instructions in English.
Strong attention to detail, basic math, and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work safely around industrial processing equipment and chemical materials.

Responsibilities

Operate chemical processing equipment including reactors, mixers, vessels, and dischargers.
Support production of epoxy and polyurethane formulations per procedures.
Monitor heat, cooling, vacuum, pressure, and nitrogen purging as trained.
Safely handle raw materials, chemical containers, and drums; maintain clean work areas.
