The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry and over 10 years of R&D experience, particularly in protective coatings and specialty chemicals.

This role involves strategic roadmapping of epoxy technologies, ensuring compliance, and providing technical support across departments while leading innovative projects in formulation and product development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive R&D experience in protective coatings, specialty chemicals, or industrial polymers.
• Proven experience developing products for marine, industrial maintenance, protective, or flooring applications.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the R&D roadmap for epoxy technologies.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing R&D team.
• Ensure long-term performance and quality of existing products.

Skills

Formulation experience with 2K epoxy chemistries

Experience in protective coatings

Leadership in technical team management

Project management across various technologies

Education
