Job summary

Delivery Centric Technologies is seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Functional Consultant - Planning Architect to design, implement and optimise Oracle EPM Planning solutions for remote delivery from India. You will lead functional architecture, requirements gathering and collaboration with IT and FP&A teams.

Ideal candidates have 7-8+ years in Oracle EPM/Hyperion Planning, hands-on with PBCS/EPBCS, and strong capabilities in planning and forecasting processes.

Qualifications

• 7-8+ years of experience in Oracle EPM/Hyperion Planning or related EPM tech.
• Experience in planning solution design and architecture at an architect level.
• Hands-on with Oracle EPM Planning and PBCS/EPBCS.
• Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and support functional architecture and solution design for Oracle EPM Planning implementations.

EPM Functional Consultant Planning Architect - JD

Location: India (Remote)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Functional Consultant - Planning Architect to support the functional design, implementation, configuration, and optimisation of Oracle EPM Planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support functional architecture and solution design for Oracle EPM Planning implementations.
• Gather and analyse requirements related to planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Design and configure Planning applications, including dimensions, hierarchies, forms, business rules, calculations, workflows, metadata, and security.
• Develop functional specifications and solution design documentation.
• Perform requirements analysis and fit-gap assessments.
• Work with technical teams on data integrations, mappings, metadata, and source-system interfaces.
• Support SIT, UAT, deployment, defect resolution, and production support.
• Provide guidance on EPM best practices, scalability, performance, and application governance.
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, IT, and project stakeholders.
• Provide functional guidance to junior consultants where required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7 - 8+ years of experience in Oracle EPM / Hyperion Planning or related EPM technologies.
• Experience in Planning solution design, architecture, or architect-level functional responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Planning and PBCS/EPBCS.
• Strong understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Experience with dimensions, hierarchies, metadata, forms, business rules, calculations, workflows, and security.
• Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design, testing, and implementation.
• Understanding of Oracle EPM Cloud architecture and implementation lifecycle.
• Experience working with technical teams on data integration and source-system interfaces.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
