The EPM Consultant supports the implementation and optimization of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions for client organizations. This role works closely with project leadership, functional consultants, and customers to configure applications, support testing, develop documentation, and assist with integrations and data conversions. The EPM Consultant contributes throughout the software implementation lifecycle while maintaining a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Support on‑site and remote deployment of Oracle EPM applications for client organizations.
- Guide customers through Oracle‑delivered functionality and assist in mapping business processes to system capabilities.
- Configure Oracle EPM application functionality in alignment with business requirements.
- Assist with system, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Coordinate directly with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction are achieved and maintained.
- Transfer system and process knowledge to clients through documentation, training, and hands‑on support.
- Prioritize and manage multiple project tasks and requests concurrently.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project and solution documentation.
- Report project status, risks, and issues to project leadership and elevate as needed.
- Contribute to the development of custom reports, interfaces, testing assets, and user training materials.
- Develop functional and technical documentation for data conversions, interfaces, and custom reporting using documented revision control standards.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of data conversions and integrations to and from Oracle’s Suite of Business Applications.
- Open and resolve Oracle Service Requests with Oracle Support.
- Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution during development and post‑production support.
- Maintain awareness of current technologies, Oracle enhancements, and industry best practices to support consulting initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with project team members across functional and technical disciplines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of work experience with 2+ years of Oracle EPM implementation experience (Oracle Cloud experience preferred).
- Must be a US Citizen to work on a federal project.
- Hands‑on financial process knowledge including planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics.
- Experience working within a software implementation lifecycle and consulting delivery methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite/offshore delivery model.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide as required.
