Job summary

Saint John's Communities in Milwaukee seeks an Episcopal Priest and Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional care for residents and staff. The role requires ordained Episcopal clergy eligible to work in Milwaukee, with a Master of Divinity and clinical pastoral education.

You will develop wellness programs, plan worship, administer sacraments, and collaborate with hospice chaplains and the broader church community.

Qualifications

• Must be an ordained Episcopal clergy person eligible to work in the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee.
• Master of Divinity degree or equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
• 4 units of clinical pastoral education.
• Two years of experience in pastoral ministry with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual and emotional care to residents and families as needed.
• Plan and conduct regular worship services and administer the Sacraments as appropriate.
• Coordinate with hospice chaplains and make hospital visits when needed.
• Supervise Chaplain Staff and pastoral volunteers; participate in staff growth.
• Represent Saint John’s to churches and the wider Milwaukee community.
