Job summary

UCB is seeking an Account Experience Specialist to act as the primary in-office liaison for REMS education and onboarding within the Atlanta, GA area. You will facilitate patient progression to active therapy, coordinating with our external specialty pharmacy partner and internal teams to ensure timely initiation and ongoing support.

The role emphasizes strong relationship-building, clear communication, problem-solving, and travel up to 80% to cover Georgia and northern Florida territories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (BA/BS).
• Minimum of 2 years of Biotechnology/Biopharmaceutical account management or sales experience.
• Master’s degree or other advanced degree preferred.
• 2 years of rare/orphan drug experience is highly preferred or significant account management or sales experience in CNS/neuroscience.

Responsibilities

• Educate and support REMS and ONWARD programs for HCP offices, staff, and patients.
• Build partnerships with healthcare providers and office staff to ensure REMS compliance and patient safety.
• Resolve procedural barriers delaying therapy initiation by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate local care with internal and external teams for smooth onboarding and activation.
• Perform patient case reviews with HCPs, staff, field teams, and pharmacies to mitigate delays.
• Deliver training to neurology and ECHO offices, prepare materials, answer questions, and follow up.
