Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Neurologist to join the Epilepsy Division across Overlook Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center, both Level 4 epilepsy centers. The role emphasizes collaboration with referring physicians, EEG interpretation, and involvement in device placement planning.

The successful candidate will have a 2-year epilepsy fellowship, be BE/BC in Neurology, and hold NJ licensure or be eligible. Flexible scheduling and limited call are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Neurology.
• 2-year epilepsy fellowship from an accredited program.
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat seizure disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Interpret electroencephalography (EEG) studies, including long-term video EEG.
• Identify suitable candidates and oversee workups for placement of antiepileptic devices.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and integrate with staff physicians to strengthen the Epilepsy Division.
