Precede Biosciences is seeking a computational biologist to formulate methods and interpret results for biopharma R&D and diagnostic applications. The role blends biology with computation to drive clinically relevant insights in a fast-paced startup setting.

You will lead analyses of novel epigenomic data, develop predictive models, and collaborate across clinical, translational, computational, and product teams to realize innovative diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Experience using computational analyses of the epigenome to tell a biological narrative.
• Ability to present this narrative to groups.
• Open to all experience levels; role set by experience.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proficient in either R (Bioconductor) or Python.
• Value diversity and teamwork across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models with immediate clinical relevance by blending biology with computation.
• Lead projects connecting disease biology with computational analysis to advance diagnostics.
• Spearhead analysis of novel epigenomic data and translate findings to clinical impact.
• Explore biological underpinnings across disease areas to generate meaningful endpoints.
• Create novel classifiers with diagnostic relevance for potential clinical use.
• Collaborate with clinical, translational, computational, and product teams to realize diagnostics.
