Fulton County Board of Health is seeking a Communicable Disease Specialist Supervisor within the Medical and Preventive Services division. The role leads field and office teams, oversees epidemiological programs, and ensures timely disease intervention and reporting for STD/HIV cases across Fulton County.

The ideal candidate will supervise staff, analyze surveillance data, and implement strategies to reduce disease prevalence while maintaining rigorous data quality and compliance with reporting

Formación

• Requires associate degree and four years of related experience, or six years in a medical-related field, or RN licensure with three years nursing experience.
• Experience at the Communicable Disease Specialist 3 level or equivalent is acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises, guides, and/or instructs subordinate staff.
• Manages all epidemiological programs in the health district.
• Gathers, analyzes and monitors data on communicable diseases.
• Implements timely disease intervention strategies to reduce prevalence.
• Offers frontline supervision of staff investigating STD/HIV cases.
• Provides guidance and review of STD/HIV cases and ensures timely reporting via Sendss.
