Job summary

Laredo Technical Services, Inc. (LTSi) seeks an Epidemiologist to lead PH data integration and analytics for MDC2. You will design dashboards and DSS to support decision making for air, space, and cyberspace operations, and maintain data dictionaries and KM curricula.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Public Health or related field, US citizenship, HIPAA training, and experience with surveillance systems such as AFDRSi, ESSENCE, and HL7. The role is full-time at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics or related field.
• US citizenship and strong knowledge of epidemiology and biostatistics.
• HIPAA training completed or within one month of employment.
• Experience with health surveillance systems and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and harmonize PH data from surveillance and clinical systems for MDC2.
• Develop DSS and dashboards translating PH data into actionable intelligence.
• Document code and macros to meet government programming standards.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries and KM training for the PH field.
• Support real-time biosurveillance and outbreak investigations using KM tools.
