Job summary

Prominence Advisors, Inc. seeks a Senior Epic Willow Analyst to serve as the primary Willow Inpatient expert and primary support contact for a health system.

You will configure, build, and support pharmacy workflows, acting as a technical leader for the clinical applications team through project work, go-live, and ongoing operations. The role requires hands-on Willow experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to deliver projects remotely.

Responsibilities

• Assess Epic releases and update configurations accordingly.
• Conduct system testing and data validation for conversions.
• Develop internal procedures and change control processes.
• Create training materials and train end users on workflows.
• Troubleshoot user questions during go-live and support periods.
• Act as technical resource for senior staff on performance and policies.
• Participate in additional duties to deliver projects.

Prominence is looking for a senior Epic Willow Analyst to serve as the primary support contact and application expert for Willow Inpatient at an academic health system. This role will configure, build, and support pharmacy workflows through project work, go-live, and ongoing operations, acting as a technical leader for the customer's clinical applications team.

Requirements

As a member of our Epic Consulting team, you'll work closely with our customers to implement and optimize their Epic workflows. In addition to your Epic project work, you will help mentor and grow our customer's teams, elevate issues, and guide projects to a successful outcome.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Epic-related consulting and advisory services, including but not limited to the following:

• Serve as the primary support contact and subject matter expert for Epic Willow Inpatient, working under the direction of the customer's team lead and manager.
• Configure, build, and install the application, and coordinate all issues that arise for the application area during the project.
• Analyze pharmacy and clinical workflows and understand the policies, procedures, and constraints of the operations the application supports.
• Investigate and document operational specifications and application functionality in precise detail.
• Analyze new Epic releases to determine how workflows should change, and build and populate tables during system configuration.
• Conduct system testing and conversion data validation.
• Develop and document internal procedures and establish change control processes for the application.
• Develop training aids and train end users on workflows and use of the application.
• Troubleshoot end-user problems and questions during training, go-live, stabilization, and ongoing support, including 24/7 support periods.
• Serve as a technical resource for senior staff and managers on functionality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, policy, and performance.
• Additional duties as may be required to successfully deliver a project.
• May be invited to participate in corporate functions, events, and meetings.

Desired Qualifications

• Active Certification: Willow Inpatient
• Hands-on experience supporting Epic Willow
• Demonstrated ability to deliver successful projects remotely
• PharmD is a plus
• Strong problem-resolution skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
• Strong analytical skills, including designing and executing tests and analyzing system performance data
• Skilled communicator who makes decisions both independently and in collaboration with others at all levels of a project
• Sound judgment, a bias to action, and a track record of practical solutions to hard problems
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific
• Onsite or hybrid candidates must complete the customer's full medical screening
