Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a Manager, Information Services to lead the Epic Willow and Epic Beacon teams within our EMR environment, partnering with clinical, revenue cycle, and operations leaders to implement and maintain software solutions that support patient care and hospital operations.

You will guide experienced professionals, provide technical direction, and ensure medication management and oncology workflows run efficiently, with opportunities to influence modernization across Epic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provides work direction to staff aligned with departmental objectives.
• Elevates team members' thinking by infusing best practice knowledge into the work.
• Manages the selection, development, and coaching of team members.
• Ensure job requirements and goals for each position are clear to employees and communicated.
• Provide leadership to team members in completion of technology initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate with appropriate teams to plan, implement, and evaluate services.
• Design, develop, implement and maintain systems aligned to organizational needs.
• Recommend cost-effective technology solutions meeting workforce and patient care needs.
• Develop, maintain and deliver effective communications and training to users.
• Assist with fiscal responsibilities and monitor budgets and expenditures.
• Provide reports and research information for major purchases.
• May assist with annual budget preparation.
• Provide leadership for project delivery and resource allocation.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope.
• Stay current on upcoming development and strategize a roadmap to maintain currency.
• Represent team in discussions regarding upgrades and selected products.
