Job summary

Rush University Medical Center in Chicago seeks an IS Technical Trainer to help team members learn and effectively use the Epic electronic medical record system. You will facilitate training sessions, maintain training materials, and collaborate with Epic teams to support learning and adoption.

In addition to training, you’ll provide technical support by handling Epic-related questions, triaging ServiceNow tickets, and helping resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 2 years healthcare/training experience (in lieu of degree)
• Experience training and supporting EMR systems
• Proficient with common technologies and programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range: $26.01 - $38.75 per hour

Summary

Rush is seeking an IS Technical Trainer to help team members learn and effectively use our Epic electronic medical record system. In this role, you’ll facilitate training sessions, maintain accurate training materials and environments, and collaborate with Senior IS Technical Trainers and Epic application teams to support learning and system adoption.

In addition to training, you’ll provide technical support to Rush users by assisting with Epic-related questions, triaging ServiceNow help desk tickets, and helping resolve issues. Required Job Qualifications

• In lieu of an associate degree, 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare and/or training is required
• Experience training and supporting electronic medical record systems
• Proficiency with technology and commonly used programs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Familiarity with adult learning theories
• Experience working with Physicians and APPs.
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Epic certification(s)
