• Focus on building and maintaining security protocols and related controls.
• Facilitate meetings, participate in cross-team workgroups, and mentor Analyst I.
• Provide 24/7 operational support and on-call rotations as needed.
• Develop documentation for build specifications and system processes.

By ensuring effective and reliable technology solutions, The Analyst II empowers staff and clinicians to deliver exceptional cancer care and research outcomes.The Epic Security Analyst II will:Plan, design, configure, build, test, implement and maintain clinical and enterprise applications, including moderately complex system components within the Epic EHR environment.Focus on building and maintaining security protocolsFacilitate meetings and demonstrate work product performanceParticipate in workgroups within and across teamsTroubleshoot multifaceted issues spanning software, hardware, interfaces, and databases.Monitors system performancePerform quality assurance and integrated testing to ensure application reliability and alignment with organizational standards.Supports projects and develop application-specific enhancements and reports to support clinical and operational priorities.Develops and maintains system documentation for build specifications.Mentor and guide Analyst I team members on technical tasks and processes.Provide 24/7 operational support for assigned applications and participate in on-call rotations as needed.Minimum Education:Bachelor’s Degree (Business, IS, Healthcare, or related field of study required)Associate's Degree + 2 additional years of applicable experience (minimum total of 5 years) will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degreeCertification:Active Epic Systems Administration Certification is required. Additional certification in EpicCare Link and/or Care Everywhere is preferred.Knowledge of clinical, business, and/or operational healthcare hospital/clinic workflows preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Visio preferred.Strong project management and presentation skills preferred.Professional level certification from an accredited organization in relevant network security, informatics, health information technology, or business specialties preferred.Excellent presentation and documentation skills.Preferred Experience:• Experience with PACS systems preferred.• Experience with systems provisioning/security and Active Directory structures preferred.• Experience with integration platforms including middleware and application interfaces preferred.• Experience working with project life cycle and project management methodologies preferred.• Experience with operational workflows of Patient Access functionsNote: Travel to our Tampa, Florida location will be required based on project needs, approximately once a month.Salary Range$89,273.60 - $136,052.80Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
