Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks a Charge Master Analyst to safeguard the accuracy and compliance of the Charge Description Master and pricing within Epic. You will collaborate across Revenue Cycle, Finance, Compliance, and IT to implement pricing updates, charge capture optimization, and revenue integrity initiatives.

The ideal candidate has Epic Resolute, Charge Router, and fee schedule experience, with strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Minimum two years in medical coding/billing (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
• Bachelors degree plus 5+ years in revenue cycle, pricing, or related field, or 8+ years in related field.

Responsibilities

• Translate charge throughput guidelines into codes for accurate billing.
• Review codes in the system to align with guidelines and services.
• Maintain CPT/HCPCS codes, descriptions, RVU info, and fee schedules.
• Provide guidance on coding/billing issues to departments and clinicians.
• Monitor and improve revenue cycle processes; implement corrective actions.
