Job summary

Owensboro Health System is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Training Specialist to develop and deliver Epic and Revenue Cycle training for staff, ensuring competency and compliance across departments.

You will work with IT, Revenue Cycle leaders, and clinical teams to design curricula, maintain materials, and monitor training effectiveness while supporting system optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in related field; combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Certified/Accredited through Epic Systems in one or more Epic applications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and delivers Epic and Revenue Cycle training programs for staff using adult learning principles and competency-based methods.
• Conducts classroom, virtual, one-on-one training related to Epic applications, Revenue Cycle workflows, and integrated software.
• Maintains training materials, assessments, and resources to support operational effectiveness and user proficiency.
• Uses Epic, HealthStream, and reporting tools to identify learning gaps, monitor effectiveness, and support continuous learning.
• Provides ongoing operational and application support by addressing workflow questions and promoting standardized Epic usage.
• Collaborates with IT, Revenue Cycle leaders, and stakeholders to support training initiatives and system optimization.
• Participates in Epic education initiatives, instructional design, and team development activities.
