Job summary

The successful candidate will develop workflows, configure systems, document changes, and train staff on Epic Resolute Hospital Billing functionality, reporting to the Access & Revenue IS Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of directly-related business applications experience.
• Knowledge and experience with health care information systems or workflows common in physician practices.
• Understanding of computing systems, interfaces and hospital/software used for input data preparation.
• Analytical and technical skills to apply technology to clinical problems and improve efficiency.
• IT or operational experience in Hospital Coding, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, Claims, Contracts is a plus.
• Proficiency or certification in Epic applications: Epic Resolute Hospital Billing; Epic Contract Maintenance also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop workflows, system configurations, change documentation, and training staff on Epic Resolute Hospital Billing functionality.
• Analyze procedures and problems within health care systems; report findings and recommend resolutions.
• Formulate system scope and objectives.
• Act as a liaison with hospital areas to determine future enhancements and maintain related documentation.
