Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Epic Resolute Billing Analyst to optimize hospital and professional billing processes. You will work with revenue cycle leaders, end users, and IT to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements for efficient billing operations.

The role involves building and maintaining Epic configurations, supporting upgrades, developing reports, and training end users to improve revenue cycle performance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IS, Healthcare, or related field or an Associate's with 2+ years experience.
• Epic Resolute HB or PB Certification is required.
• Data courier experience is preferred.
• 5 years of system build experience within an Epic environment focusing on Resolute.
• Strong expertise in Epic Resolute Billing (PB/HB) and related workflow optimization.
• Experience with healthcare revenue cycle workflows, requirements gathering, and system enhancements.

Job Description

The Epic Resolute Billing Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing the Epic Resolute Billing application to ensure accurate and efficient hospital and professional billing processes. On a day-to-day basis, they partner with revenue cycle leaders, end users, and IT teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot billing issues, analyze workflows, and implement system enhancements. They build, test, and maintain Epic configurations, support upgrades and ongoing projects, and ensure billing processes align with organizational and regulatory requirements. The analyst also develops reports, provides end-user support and training, and helps identify opportunities to improve revenue cycle performance and operational efficiency.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Business, IS, Healthcare, or related field) OR Associates degree w/ 2 additional years of direct experience

  - Epic Resolute HB OR PB Cert

  - Data courier experience

  - 5 years of system build experience within an Epic Environment (successful implementations, high level complexity focused specifically within the Resolute module)

  - Strong expertise in Epic Resolute Billing, including Professional Billing (PB) and Hospital Billing (HB) claims build, workflow optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing application support.

  - Experience analyzing healthcare revenue cycle workflows, gathering business requirements, and implementing system enhancements while ensuring compliance with billing regulations and documentation standards.

  - Advanced problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of healthcare operations, healthcare information systems, integrations/interfaces, security provisioning, and data management.

Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills, with experience supporting projects through the full lifecycle and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes. - Data courier badge
