Job summary

Seattle Information Technology is seeking a Quality Assurance Test Analyst to join the EPIC delivery team. The role tests the city's critical permitting application and supports other applications, collaborating with multiple business units to align testing with business goals.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, executing cases (manual and automated), defect tracking, and contributing to test automation. A hybrid schedule with some non-standard hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or related experience.
• Experience as a QA tester for web-based applications.
• Experience developing and executing automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Test software solutions functionally and technically, primarily the EPIC permit system.
• Create and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Document, track, and report defects with estimates of testing effort.
• Assist in test automation to measure system performance under load.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and best practices.
