Premier Health is seeking an EPIC PROGRAMMER / ANALYST – Inpatient Orders to join the Digital Health & Technology – CLIN ED team in Dayton, OH. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on Inpatient Orders, Order Sets, and Order Transmission.

You will guide the project lifecycle from definition to deployment, support critical inpatient workflows, and provide senior technical leadership across IT and clinical teams.

Formación

• Associate degree with 6 years of experience, 3 years Epic experience, and Epic Certification required; or Bachelor degree with 4 years experience, 2 years Epic experience, and Epic Certification required.
• Degree in IT or related area; related fields include Nursing, Medical Technology, Radiology, Mathematics, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory, Pharmacy, or Medicine.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced-level programming and systems analysis support for a broad array of strategic and tactical projects.
• Participate in all phases of the project life cycle, including project definition, estimating, systems design, programming, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, and documentation.
• Support the implementation of integrated hospital and corporate computer systems.
• Provide functional technical guidance to entry- and intermediate-level programming staff.
• Act as a leader and coordinator for team assignments and goals.
• Recommend, design, develop, and implement information systems that meet departmental objectives within the functional area of responsibility.
• Apply practical experience and advanced operational technical knowledge to build effective business relationships and partnerships.
• Integrate advanced technical skills with business knowledge to deliver effective information systems solutions.
• Manage all activities involved in developing an information system from initial project review and scope definition to final implementation with minimal supervision.
• Respond to software malfunctions within assigned systems and provide support to operations and users to correct issues and prevent recurrence.
• Support Epic-related inpatient clinical workflows with emphasis on Inpatient Orders, Order Sets, Order Panels, and Order Transmission.

Qualifications
