POSITION SUMMARY:

The Applications Analyst III is a senior business specialist and technology generalist responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies. The Applications Analyst III is responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to apply technologies to business processes by informing and advising customers on information system technologies' functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements. The Applications Analyst III functions as a technical liaison and broker of services with various vendors. The Applications Analyst III acts as an internal consultant, providing technical guidance or business process expertise on the most complex projects or researching strategic planning matters from a technical or business standpoint. Must be competent to perform and integrate work at a high level within this job family and work at an in-depth level within the technical and clinical areas.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

Required Certifications: Resolute Professional Billing Administration

Preferred Certifications: Epic Charge Router

EXPERIENCE:

At least 3-5 years of experience in:

• Epic Resolute Professional Billing, including business application design, development, and installation, or
• Significant healthcare background with demonstrated abilities in the applications arena.

Additional experience desired:

• Build, troubleshooting, and maintenance in Epic Charge Router, General Ledger, security, diverse knowledge in workqueues
• Experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement involving broad-based information systems and tools for business change.
• Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
• Experience in ticket management applications such as ServiceNow.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Knowledge of revenue cycle workflows and processes.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to explain complex technical concepts understandably.
• Understanding of project management concepts and documentation for multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills; proven ability in developing new concepts for projects and technical plans.
• Problem-solving skills spanning multiple environments.
• Effective time management for high productivity.
• Understanding of IT's impact on organizations and its link to business process redesign.
• Team player with flexibility, friendliness, and enthusiasm.
• Ability to work across functions and understand how responsibilities relate within Epic applications.
